For reasons yet to be fully explained, our species has been beaten back into a small settlement protected by three concentric Walls. In case you're staring blankly at the screen right now, clueless as to what I'm talking about, Attack on Titan revolves around the last bastion of humanity. Then again, anything with fists three times your size is, by default, terrifying. Though the world is roughly modeled, the protagonist a squat-looking version of itself, the giant themselves are curiously menacing.
